The Value Added Tax (VAT) is the most common type of consumption tax levied on goods and services. We help you
fulfill compliance obligations of your business from the purview of VAT and Corporate Tax. Our team
analyzes requirements of UAE tax legislation and advises on required actions and procedures in order to
ensure complete compliance.
The UAE tax regulatory environment has undergone historic transformation. With the implementation of
Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses (introducing a standard 9%
rate) alongside the established Value Added Tax regime under Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017, tax
compliance has become a critical strategic governance matter for every UAE enterprise.
Non-compliance carries severe financial exposure: late registration penalties (AED 10,000), failure to
file returns on time, and inaccurate VAT declarations can accumulate substantial administrative surcharges.
Lotus Auditors & Accountants provides proactive, end-to-end tax advisory, EmaraTax profile
management, and filing services that safeguard your business assets while maximizing legitimate statutory
reliefs.
