Under UAE Federal Law No. 32 of 2021 on Commercial Companies, all mainland LLCs are legally required to appoint an approved auditor and maintain audited books. Furthermore, prominent Free Zones (such as DMCC, DIFC, JAFZA, DAFZA, IFZA, and Shams) require audited financial statements to renew commercial trade licenses and maintain corporate good standing.
